Well thanks to Elevator_K for the heads-up!
EmuGif is back! Here is the new address. Update your bookmarks.
Emu-zone was changing hosts and has now, after a slow start re-upped the EmuGif (and best
) section of their all encompassing gaming site. It was quite a long ride finding out what the actual issue was (Chinese site) and if the site was coming back at all, but all is well that ends well.
Another thanks goes out to the very helpful and friendly Emu-Zone forum members such as Gun who helped us out with information updates in English.
Get spriting!

Joined up to the SRK forums a little while ago after having lurked there a little while.
Messing with Street Fighter (and other) art, for avatars was always going to appeal to me a little so here are a few avatars I ended up making for myself and others.
To see all my SRK avatars go: here.
Hit ‘more’ to see the images (the page was slow to some visitors so I had to hide them)

Seems lots of people don’t realize that the bulk of people who play Street Fighter 3 online over MAME and Kaillera are using the Japan NO CD version.
The benefit of using the Japanese NO CD version is that you don’t have to sit through the 25 minutes it takes for the US version to re-write files.
The other benefit as mentioned, is that 97% of the people who play 3s online via Kaillera are running the Japanese NO CD version.
How do you run / where do you get the Japan NO CD version of Street Fighter 3?
You download the normal US version of the game and install that to your ROM folder normaly.
The important part, to activate the Japanese version with the NO CD, you have to download this special file.
Once you have it downloaded, you need to extract the contents of the zip file into your ROM folder. This file is not a ROM. Don’t just put the zip into your ROM folder!
Once you have done the above steps, go into MAME and re-audit your SF3 version and the Japanese version should appear.
If this still doesn’t work for you, or you still don’t understand read this tutorial on how to get it to work and if that doesn’t work, ask here.

A GUi/skin I made for the now defunct program ‘Overnet’.
Was ported to newer versions by third parties.
I went for a dark Tech/Industial look with the buttons being a sort of large hydrolic slider.
download… coming soon! (not that it’ll be much use to you)
