PC in boxes (before)

Well chiddlers, this will be my last post on this here PC.

For the last… oh I’d say 7 months I’ve been operating on this totally kaput PC.
It’s been more than annoying to say the least. ‘Control + S’ is second nature as this damned rig has been doing nothing but crash every half hour for the afore mentioned 7 months.

It took me a while to buy new parts, but they have all finally arrived! (bar my GFX card which is being driven here as I write these lines) yay!

So here is a ‘before’ picture of all my parts in boxes and if all goes well I should be able to post an ‘after’ pic. by late tonight. (though building a PC and re-installing all the proggies always takes way longer than anticipated)

What you see there is:
Black Antec P182 Midi-Tower
ASUS VW202S, 20″ Montior (1680×1050)
ASUS P5N32-E SLI nForce Motherboard
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 95W, 4x 2.40GHz, 2x 4MB shared Cache CPU
2 GB of Crucial Ballistix RAM
Enermax Liberty 620W PSU
Noctua NH-U12F CPU Fan
And what you don’t see in that pic is the Leadtek WinFast GeForce 8800 GTX, 768MB Graphics card.

Granted it all looks a bit stale in boxes but it should look all the better once I’ve put it all together.
